A woman Professional is an individual who identifies as a female that possesses specialized knowledge, skills, and expertise in a specific field or occupation and obtained relevant education, training, and Certifications.
She also must have demonstrated high level of competence, integrity and professionalism.

Nigerian women have made marks in numerous fields and careers through their achievements.
From a diverse range of sectors such as Business, Politics, Advocacy, Entertainment, Governance, and Enterprise.

There is a need for women in Surveying and Geoinformatics profession to be Managers in Surveying Community in Governments position, Private Practice and Academia.

I believe there should be a deliberate effort to increase the number of women holding key Surveying positions, this will encourage younger women seeking admission to Pick Surveying and Geoinformatics.
By increasing the quota of women in Surveying, it makes the profession more marketable and gender friendly.
